WHAT IS MALTENI ?
Created in 2010 by 2 friends, passionate about cycling and proud of their region.
They gave birth to a craft beer especially for cycling fans.
Malteni beer has become more than just a great beer. Malteni brings pleasure to cycling fans new & old.
Brewed in Belgium following the highest traditional standards, Malteni combines cycling & cobbles, all in a convivial & sporting atmosphere.
For cycling fans, the name of the Molteni team is well known.
Molteni was the famous Italian team of the 60s & 70s, especially well know for being the team of Eddy Merckx.
Malteni, is therefore a little Molteni and a lot of Malt, the essential ingredient of beer.
Vintage bicycle rides, alleycat races, fixed gear criteriums, singles-speed mtb, cyclo-cross, gravel, cyclo-sportives, parties, bike cafés, restaurants, bike shops or organic shops. You can find & enjoy Malteni everywhere !
The ultimate combination of good taste after a hard bike ride with friends, to celebrate a victory or to slip into the skin of a former rider of this mythical age!
ORGANIC BELGIAN CRAFT BEERS
Craft beer, brewed with passion (using organic grain cultivated locally at the Domaine de Graux) by the Brunehaut brewery in the Hainaut region of Belgium.
To be served at between 8 & 11°c in a Malteni glass (tulipe style).
Delivered by cargobike (Lille area), by car or transporter in 24X33cl crates. Also available on 20 liters stainless steel keg upon request.
THREE BEER TYPES
Amber 33cl - Best enjoyed in the more “Belgian” seasons, with stewed and cooked dishes.
Perfect to follow the riders of the spring classics
Blonde 33cl - Very pleasant beer as an aperitif for amateur beer enthusiasts not too marked by bitterness.
Created to toast the riders of the Tour de France.
White 33cl - The first supple flavour without being too bitter, almost round in the mouth.
The freshness seems to be its main quality.
The beer of world champions.
